Do something new in 2009 - Serious Musicians Only Please
I am a multi instrumentalist with a long history of gigging in clubs, touring and recording.
I just recently stopped playing with other bands to bring back my original project.
I have grown tired of "selling out" just to get paid. Don't get me wrong,
we WILL get PAID, I just refuse to work for people who do not know how to run,
market or even book a band for more than a few pennies a night.
I have references and they will tell you that once we were up and running we NEVER
made less than $1000.00 a night in a club and alot more at other venues.
In a few hours it will be 2009.
I do not want to do in 2009 the things I did in 2008. I want more, I want bigger and better.
Surely someone out there can understand this.
Are you not tired of playing the same old lazy songs for nickels?
Don't you want to be in a band that makes them sweat on the dance-floor?
Here is what I'm doing, and I only need five people to do it.
The reason 5 is the limit is because some of the venues limit the band size,
not that they are small but, Dept of Justice won’t move big bands around for the troops,
most cruise ships won’t take any more than five, and I want to put more money in our
pockets without having to split it with nine other people.
So we have to make the biggest sound with the least amount of people.
We've done this already, I want to go back and make the money doing what I love and earn a
living. I don't want to work a job; this IS a job if you really understand this business.
This is not get rich quick or trying to get a record deal.
We will work to develop a "SHOW" and we will sweat.
If you are good at your instrument we can be working after a few rehearsals.
You will have a set list and the rehearsal's emphasis will be on the performance,
choreography and vocals.
This will be a family; we will work, travel, eat, share rooms, rehearse and have fun.
We will start locally just to get it tight, it has to be tight or I can’t sell it.
Ideally I would like:
2 Keyboards - Guitar - Bass - Drums Or 2 Guitars - Keyboards - Bass – Drums
with every one singing.
Girls - Guys, I don't care just be solid and able to travel (eventually).
Here are just a few perks:
Recording studios at our finger tips.
Side projects, musicians are needed for CD projects I'm engineering.
Management (now) and Booking Agents (when we're ready to travel).
Can be the house band for Pink Lady Studio and ALL their projects.

NEED BASSIST, RHYTHM GUITARIST, AND DRUMMER

We are two experienced local Christian musicians in local Christian music ministry. We have a lead vocalist and a lead guitarist. We are heading up putting this project together. We have been involved in local ministries and enjoy it but, are looking to do something very different. We are in need of a drummer and a rhythm guitarist, bass guitarist, and a drummer. We are looking to go "outside of the box" and play some eclectic music, as well as some rock, basically using many different styles of music to worship the Lord, without limits. We want our music to put people on a different plain to really be in a mode of feeling so worshipful they forget about anything going on around them, and just focus entirely on worship only. This is, for now, a non-paying gig (until we could get paid to play somewhere obviously). Please serious inqiuiries only requiring; heart for the Lord in ministry, talent, and the desire to step outside of the box of average Christian Contemporary music.
